Tailored Training
Breakdown
Herefordshire Academy of Dramatic Art focuses on drama for stage and screen as well as voice over work. Students build performance skills which can be broken down into the use of face, body, voice and space. We cater to a range of ages from 11-16 currently in class, however private coaching is available for all ages. Each class will be organised to suit age ranges and needs, with a rough estimate of 15 pupils per class. Workshops and other events will be offered out via email to those currently with us or those who have registered their interest.
We breakdown what it means to play a character and the internal and external preparation that goes with it.
We build our students confidence, courage and discipline.
We provide classes on mind-body connection including optional introductions to martial arts as a tool for awareness, partnership, co-ordination and focus.

We teach text work, featuring modern and classical pieces for both stage and screen. Monologue, partnered and group work with an aim to perform polished pieces publicly. There may be potential for students to take LAMDA examinations in the future or for filmed work to be used in seeking representation by professional industry agents if appropriate.
